I had trouble deciding what category to put this in but decided on Traditional Art because the characters are, I think, the main focus of the picture and were created with traditional methods.
Um, but ya; these are my characters (I think) from my NaNoWriMo story that has yet to be written. I can't start it until November so I don't know exactly what it will be about. Basically though, the girl's from our time and the guy's from the 1870's. I think he's trying to tell her something. And I don't know why she's barefoot...Actually I do; I didn't feel like drawing shoes. I like this picture better than the one I did recently I think. I hate drawing sitting people from the front by the way; it never looks right. And don't mind the odd shadows...I tried to make them look right but then just sorta gave up. I drew this one more realistically because I actually used a reference for this picture! (Yay!) Here's a link: [link] The background's not completely mine either. I modified a picture from: [link] (Yay Google Images...) |

I like how the hair turned out on your guy character. It looks good covering his eyes (it's mysterious...^^)
I like the way you devided the background to make his look more cepia-toned, it's a nice touch.
